Ballydugan Mill

B

Zac + Mary

A small collection of photos from  Zac + Mary’s  wedding,  a super, fun, happy wedding at  Ballydugan Mill  The morning starred for me with the Boys (running a little late). Then on to the bridal prep where I witnessed an amazing chilled and fun welcome, blended in with all sorts of emotion and lots of laughter !! Shout out to Samantha (MUP)  + Sinead (hair) The ceremony took place St Gerrard’s, Belfast with music supplied by Mary’s brothers… Hang on, I know these Guys (more later)

The wedding took place on a sunny but cold  December afternoon with some blue skies peering through the clouds, closely followed by torrential rain after the ceremony. The plan was to pop to Tyrell Beach for a few photos , but as it was raining in Belfast this looked a little sketchy – well I called it and said lets do it, we are only 15 mins for there Mill… (ok, fingers where crossed on the 50mins drive down there…)

Oh Wow, Ian (Ian Higgins Media)  and I got there 10mins ahead of the B&G and it was stunning – the light was perfect, I mean it was dreamy… Such a beautiful backdrop for wedding photography, making my job an absolute pleasure. But it was running out and cold, so we ended up with 7 mins on the beach, /LoL – but every second was worth it !!

Oh, amazing flowers from the Bloom Barn, as always !

Then we head back to Ballydugan Mill, with the light fading (actually made for a great shoot with the wedding cars (Andrews).  I’ve now  got some great shots on the bag, so capturing guests and the action was easy.

Following the theme of the day the speeches were fun and lively which then led us on to the main event, party time! Certainly one of my favourite times of day where guests let their hair down and are oblivious to the camera (see the photos below). And the most amazing band The Rare Oul’ Stuff – just happens to be Marys Brother !! What a PARTY the energy from there band and the enthusiasm from the guest was electric – wish I was a guest !

Did I mention the Wellies…. ??? (check out the photos)

Getting Married at Ballydugan Mill

The Mill is amazing, no seriously – it is a massive 17th Century building loving restored, with loads of authentic touches all done by Noel, now transformed  into the perfect wedding venue. Run by the incredibly team of Mary + Maureen, the wedding day ran like clockwork (as always)

If you like what you see and would be interested in me capturing your wedding at Ballydugan Mill  please feel free to contact me after you’ve viewed the photos below of-course) 🙂
