Finnebrogue Woods is one of those rare wedding venues that feels as though it’s been lifted straight from a storybook — dappled light on the water, towering trees overhead, and tipis glowing quietly among the forest. I’ve been photographing weddings here since the very beginning, and I’ve had the privilege of knowing Ed and Rachel — the heartbeat behind this place — from day one. I was even there for their very first tipi event, a family birthday party, long before weddings were part of the vision.
Finnebrogue has only grown stronger over the years: bigger, more polished, and beautifully run. Gillian manages everything with remarkable calm and precision, ensuring each couple’s day flows effortlessly. And as a preferred supplier, I have the privilege of photographing weddings here regularly — familiarity with the venue means I can make the very best of every space and every moment for my couples.

And yes… I’ll happily admit it — I’m the reason the rowing boats are here. Years ago, I “borrowed” one during a shoot, realised instantly how incredible the photos were, and thankfully the idea stuck.
